        Hi, I’m Dylan Hynes! I am currently a freelance graphic designer and a prepress technician for OEC Graphics located in Willowbrook, Illinois. As a graphic designer, I premiarilly focus on social media assets and the occasional typesetting. I was  a graphic design intern for the Career Services department at Illinois State University, located in Normal, Illinois. Where I focused a majority of my work on the department's social media posts as well as the creation of flyers and digital displays that were used across the campus. 

        My designs revolve around brand identity and how breaking the established branding norms can be beneficial if done in a tactful way. My true passion lies in creating sustainable packaging design. The hope is that that can allow for greener solutions to packaging, as well as keeping the cost of the process low to incentivize companies to actually pursue these greener alternatives to packaging. To me, packaging design is a perfect mix of product, advertisement, statement, and art in one package. Creating environmentally sustainable packaging for a variety of products is something I have constantly tried to solve. As I’ve always been an environmentally conscious person. I have always held a strong interest in the advertisement and marketing spaces and sees it as his ultimate goal to become a director of marketing.
