Dashies is a cat treat brand focused on freeze-dried fish treats. It’s represented as a higher cost alternative to cat treats. Its packaging is meant to represent traditional sardine cans while also providing that loud metallic click of cans that every cat loves.

Kaktos is conceptual cactus/succulent nursery that specializes in uncommon/exotic species while giving proper care guides and supplies. We want to show people that these prickly little friends are still deserving of all the love and attention normal plants get. We mainly target an audience above the age of 20 who has the disposable income for a more exotic plant. The general consumer will most likely be an office worker who might not have the time or effort to want to maintain a traditional house plant. We wish to maintain a cozy atmosphere while also taking inspiration from classical art and the influence it has. This will mainly shine through with our use of classical parts of art in our logo/branding imagery, while using muted, earth tones for the general color palette.

Inari Sake
Brand Design
Package Design
Inari Sake is a conceptual project that stemmed off of the idea of creating a hypothetical canned sparkling sake company. The design originated around taking inspiration from traditional Japanese design while modernizing it to differentiate itself from the deeply rooted culture of sake. The can uses bold, blocky text that breaks from the norms of script, flowy text seen in most sake bottles. The use of only white and black on the cans label is supposed to elicit this feeling of a modern drink that's roots have only started to form. The paper used on the label is filled with this grainy texture that is supposed to represent the types of paper that was used Japanese printmaking and calligraphy.
Petal Pushers
Brand Redesign
Package Design
Petal Pushers is a flower shop based in Colfax Illinois. It is said to have been open since 1986 (but there is no concrete information about this). They have no assets pertaining to their business, no logo, no website, just an address and phone number. The goal going into this project was to set a baseline standard of some visual assets they could use as a means of getting a central brand identity to rally behind. With them not having anything to work off of, it made me go around the decision making of basing the logo and other assets off the notion of other flower shops and what there brand identities are.
